Late Nights and Good Times
All through University I complained about 'being up ALL NIGHT' working on a project EXCEPT when i was working on something i was really interested in…
I think i just griped because I wanted to be recognized for doing something that was hard. I wanted some sort of reward.
Now, when i was up late working on something i really enjoyed doing i couldn't care less about other people's sympathy or praise. The work was reward in and of itself. I knew i was doing something worthwhile.
I find the same to be true now… working on the Better Than TV shows.
I really believe in what i'm doing and I don't need other people's sympathy or praise. I just want them to enjoy what i put together.
So i suppose the big question that comes up from this is does everyone have something they can do till all hours of the morning just because they can and want to?
I hope so, but i doubt it's true. Well, that is to say, I doubt everyone KNOWS what that certain thing is.
One of my little goals in life is to create opportunities for people to do that 'i'll stay up late to get this done' thing in their life. I don't know how to help people discover what that 'thing' is, but i hope they find it.
As for the show prep. Things are going well. I still need one more band for BTTV-X. AND i was hoping my nieces were going to take the stage for BTTV but it looks like they can't.
thanks to you all for your support. I hope you enjoy the show.

One day BTTV will be huge. That will be cool.
