That's a good question. I've never thought about what makes them celebrate. I guess manager steve likes good strategy and is happy when it works. Creative Steve likes cool ideas and thoughts that elicit good responses....

So does Manager Stever celebrate when a project is done, Creative Steve celebrate when an idea comes to him and Confused Steve just never parties? Just wondering as I don't quite have that same split in personas, though I have had my share of different masks when I used to go through them. I had the son mask for when I dealt with my parents, my brother mask dealing with my sister, my student mask for when I was in school, etc. Lots of masks and when worlds collided it wasn't pretty if I was there to see it.

I hear you on this one my friend! Sometimes I am able to create different environments where different sides can shine. Other times I have to sit back and let the different sides swing to me before I decide what to do with them. Sometimes I am in a creative/strategic/management mode and other times I am not. I have given up trying to fight it.

One side I think we can always have is the "loving" side. No matter what mode we are in, I think if we can train ourselves to be loving at all times, we're good to go.

Thanks for the post!

I'm thinking there is a setting on the camera that is making it act like a mirror, but that's a guess on my part. An alternative would be to film in front of a mirror, but I'm not sure how easily that would work.

If I may inquire, what do you mean by community? While I could look up a dictionary definition or two, what I'm wanting is what are the key components from your view to making a community. For example, do you, Ed and I form a community as the commentators here, or is there more to it? To my mind any group of people can be a community as long as there is something that ties the group together, but then my view may be different from yours.

Yeah, we have to value others AND even OUR OWN life to build community. When we think we are worthless we won't build community. When we think others are worthless no one will want to build community with us!

Dude I love it! What is wrong with your camera filming everything backwards?

Community... yes. Great topic. I gave you a shout out in one I recorded today. So I will let you know.

Community starts with understanding how valuable Life is! When we value Life we can start community wouldn't you say?

Great lunch today. Peace out.

When Steve says he listens, he is not kidding! He has the ability to process your ideas, goals and overall vision into concise communication. From articles to entire books, Steve just makes everything read and sound better. Best part is he makes you look like a genius! Never underestimate what great writing will do for the bottom line. The return on investment cannot be denied.

I am so glad that you loved my town. It is an awesome place to be from. Did you go to the toy store? If not the next time you go you should. You will find lots of great stuff for all your nieces and nephew.

Thanks for the mention, I certainly agree with how twitter enables us to find others who we may or may not know but share common interests.

To re-enforce your point I thought I'd share a quick story...

Today (Feb 01, 2010) I was told by a friend of mine that one of my tweets was published on a local newspaper because they searched for mentions of the weather, which I happened to make as I was driving through bad highway conditions.

Now, this newspaper does not know me and I don't know them (I know their name) yet, because of our mutual interest in chatting about the weather (so Canadian) they thought it would be useful to publish my comment.

I highly doubt that they would have found my comment if I had made it in Facebook but because of the nature of twitter, I got to be famous for 15 milli-seconds today.. woop!
