BTTV was originally developed to create opportunities for musicians to develop their talents and go to the 'next level' in their development.
As the vision developed BTTV started trying to think of ways to get the neighborhood "out of their couches and into, um, anywhere else…"
Naturally, the two go hand in hand!
Now, we are working on developing a corporate sponsorship 'angle' that will allow us to inject the necessary funds to not only maintain, but grow BTTV.
Uniting these three elements -musicians, community, and business- is a unique process that will only work as each element learns to put the 'other' elements FIRST. If it hasn't been proven a thousand times i'd be surprised… the fact of the matter is that people do their best when they're truly motivated by benefitting someone other than themselves.
In this light, the BTTV mission is to put all three of these entites first and to teach them how to take their respective roles with each other.
