June 21st a Big Success and THANKS TO ALL…
I started a little on edge, but in hindsight no matter how you slice it the show was a hoot.
Turns out planning an event the same week as a minor surgery isn't always the best idea… I felt tired and a littled over taxed before the show even started.
But once people started playing…
then
THEN
i remembered why BTTV exists.
There was probably 4 or 5 times that i stoppped whatevever hustle and bustle activity I was up to and just stopped and smiled. The artists were SO good. Reuben, Les, Sarah, Carolyn, Laural, Calvin, Joal Pleasant (and crew) were amazing. Plus! Heather did such an amazing painting. I sort of know the story of her previous work and the life she shared on canvas seems to me life growing in and through many boxes was simply fantastic.
Super huge thanks to all the volunteers. (Lance and Kor are you ready to edit some video?? 
I guess we'll take a week off and then try to figure out the August 23rd show!
I aim to do plenty of fishing between now and then.
